I've been away from social media for sometime because my family and I have been dealing with the loss of a loved one, a very wonderful aunt. See, no matter how prepared you think you are for a death, you can never be fully prepared for the loss and the grief. Dying is not like you see on TV or in the movies. It is not peaceful or prepared. You may not have a spiritual or meaningful moment . . . it’s too real. The aftermath? You will have to face your emotions eventually – you can avoid them for a while, but they will catch up with you in the end. So, I am taking this one day at the time till I am my bubbly, happy self.
So, with my fur girl in tow, (which means, we'll be taking the longer route, driving) we'll be heading to L.A. today (Saturday), and will be back late evening of Tuesday.
Amidst the sadness and chaos this past week and a half, I've finally finished TZIPORA'S lower arms and hands yesterday, but she'll have to wait for more detailing, and of course, her paint-job. I will surely keep you all updated once I submerged back from deep waters.
I will have a new art doll coming up. I haven't decided the character, just yet. So, please stay tune. Life & family first, before work!
